Marshall School Projects Underway

Students at the John Marshall School in Fields Corner Dorchester, were excited to share their writing as they kicked off their community service project.

Students responded to a creative writing prompt and shared their ideas with the group.  The students were asked “If you could be any object what would you be and why?”

The lesson culminated with students imagining that they landed on earth as “space aliens” with the task of making a difference in their community.  What issue would they tackle?

Topics that have already been discussed include: homelessness, violence, world peace and what it means to be patriotic.
